NORTH FORK was written in response to the Thomas
Fire and debris flow of December, 2017- January 2018.
The book was written and its photographs were taken on the Maricopa Highway (Hwy 33) in late January, 2018 in the Wheeler Gorge wilderness of the North Fork of Matilija Creek above Ojai, California.
The book’s hopeful tenor and nature ’s regenerative power are explored through the poetic styles of haiku and tanka, paired with original photographs.
The book was designed and printed by Norman Clayton’s, Classic Letterpress of Ojai, California.
